Sampling the local culinary delights is a highlight of any visit to Bali. he Kubu Cooking Class, guests can now take a taste of authentic Bali know-how home with them too.
Kubu Bali Cooking Class professional stand-alone cooking school gives food lovers of all ages and experience. Opportunity to discover secret local cooking techniques using organic Bali ingredients. Many of the herbs, spices and vegetables used in the class are sourced from the local gardens. All of the original recipes are from our talented team who come from regions of Bali.
Whether an individual indulgence, a couples’ bonding experience or fun family activity, the classes are guaranteed to treat your taste buds while expanding your culinary skills. In addition to the daily cooking classes, after having your lunch we also bring you to Holy Water in Mumbul, Sangeh. The distance is around 5 minute from cooking class pace.
DETAIL
- Approximately 7.30 am – 8.00 am we will pick up from Hotel or Villa you are staying. Pick up and return transport is included from areas Kuta, Legian, Seminyak, Canggu and Tanah Lot. (for Nusa Dua, Uluwatu, Sanur a IDR 400.000 surcharge per round trip will apply.)

What else you should know
Balinese house is built within a compound surrounded by walls of whitewashed mud or brick, depending on the wealth of the owner. Different with the Javanese residential compound however, the Balinese residential compound is dominated with pavilions (bale) which surround a central courtyard (natah).
These pavilions acted as rooms in the western equivalent of domestic houses, each pavilion has its own function. Different architectural elements within the compound are laid out according to Balinese conception of the sacred and profane within the cardinal points.
